Here is a brand new 4/4 full size violin that has been hand made to copy the stradivarius 1715 model. The violin is made to have an antique look and this is very well achieved with this instrument by the varnishing technique employed. The tone is delightfully sweet and resonant and would greatly help improve the quality of sound for students of the instrument,early to advanced. The tone will only improve as it is played more. I have played it for an hour and find it very pleasant. Fine aged spruce for the top,maple back,sides and scroll. Quality ebony fingerboard,with ebony pegs,chin rest and tailpiece (with parisian eye),helping with the antique look. This violin has a two piece back which has been well matched flamed maple giving pleasing to the eye stripes. Fine inlaid purfling. The instrument is stringed with a set of advanced level special alloy strings and i will also include a set of perlon strings which can be used at a later date and will improve the sound even further. The tone of this violin radiates well even in higher positions. Included is a superior quality baroque violin bow made from snakewood,which suits the antique style of this violin very nicely. You can choose a brazilwood baroque bow or brazilwood normal bow if you prefer. Also included is a quality black abs hard case with soft inner shaped lining to keep your instrument safe.
